Golang Job: Media Software Engineer Intern

To join one of our 12-month Internships you will:

• Currently be studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year or graduating in Summer 2023
• Looking for work experience immediately after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
• Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 3 July 2023 – Friday 21 July 2024

What will I be doing?

As a Media & Software Engineer Intern, you will work together with an established, talented, and experienced development team working with Agile Methodologies to help build out functionality on Golang / React / Azure business systems that support key business functionality.

What will I learn from this opportunity?

You will understand the fundamental design principles behind scalable applications and the importance of testing and security.

You will have been part of a software engineering team that iteratively plans and delivers software updates according to Agile methodologies.

What do I need to bring to the role?

• You are an aspiring software engineer who cares about building maintainable, readable, testable software that solves real user problems
• You enjoy getting your hands dirty in designing, analysing, and troubleshooting large software systems
• You are a resourceful self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
